Durable windbreaker for women
A classic anorak windbreaker with G-1000 fabric is an excellent choice for winter activities and everyday use. When hiking with the stylish Vardag Anorak, you can feel comfortable and safe regardless of the weather. The durable G-1000 material protects against wind and also repels water.
The Fjallraven Anorak design is simple and convenient - the front of the jacket has a large kangaroo-style pocket, neatly complemented by the Fjallraven logo, as well as two side pockets. The zippered opening on the right side guarantees air ventilation, which makes it easier to put on/take off the jacket.
The jacket is made from durable G-1000 fabric, which is a combination of organic cotton and recycled synthetic fibers, making the fabric promote a soft and breathable feel for the skin.
Fjallraven manufacturers have taken care of the external treatment of the Vardag Anorak, using Greenland wax to prevent moisture and water absorption. The wax can be purchased separately to extend the product's water-repellent properties.
G-1000
Created in 1968. , developing a series of different versions.They are all durable, breathable, wind-resistant and offer protection against UV radiation.
There are five types of G-1000 material:
- G-1000 Air Stretch
- G-1000 Air
- G-1000 Silent
- G-1000 Heavy-duty
- G-1000 Lite
A densely woven fabric, made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and, by using Greenland Wax, it is adaptable to a variety of conditions. Therefore, with proper care, it will serve for years and be a great companion on adventures.
By treating the G-1000 fabric with Greenland wax, made from beeswax and paraffin, you make it even more resistant to both water and wind. Note that Greenland wax is intended for water repellency, not waterproofing.
Although most Fjallraven G-1000 items are already pre-treated, it is recommended to re-wax the garment after a couple of washes, and the wax should only be used for G-1000 products.
