Universal Compass
Silva 3NL is a universal compass suitable for most activities.
The easy-to-grip compass body has a stable, easy-to-read needle. The red/black north-south lines on the bottom of the capsule make for easy reading. The base plate with its upward curved back has a magnifying glass, stencil holes and control markings.
A rotating flask allows for the rapid Silva 1-2-3 system.
This model of the compass is equipped with a detachable cord with two scales: 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which makes it easy to measure distance. Because it's soft and flexible, it's easy to place right on your route map when you're out on the terrain or planning your next adventure.
