Mammut Ski Mountaineering Merino – merino wool socks for ski mountaineering
Breathable knee-high socks for lasting warmth and comfort on ski tours and ski mountaineering trips. Made from 51% merino wool, 40% polyamide, 7% polypropylene and 2% elastane. The materials help wick away moisture, while reinforcements over the instep and at the front of the lower leg protect against boot friction. A thinner sole improves power transfer to the skis. Developed in collaboration with Mammut athletes, including for multi-day tours.
Warmth and moisture wicking
Merino wool helps retain warmth and wick away sweat, ensuring comfort during prolonged exertion.
Hydrophobic polypropylene zones
Polypropylene in the heel and ankle areas absorbs little moisture and helps keep feet dry.
Protection against boot friction
Durable wool and polyamide reinforcements over the instep and at the front of the lower leg provide extra protection and comfort.
More precise power transfer
A thinner sole provides closer contact with the boot and more efficient power transfer to the skis.
Ergonomic fit
Separate left- and right-foot designs provide targeted protection, while elastic arch support helps keep the socks in place.
