Size guide

The dimensions specified by each manufacturer may vary.

A size chart developed specifically for Mammut shoes is available here, where the dimensions are decoded in millimeters.

To accurately determine the required size, we recommend measuring the length of the leg in millimeters.

  1. Stand against a wall or other 90-degree vertical plane on the floor with your full weight, heel touching the wall/plane.
  2. Mark where the thumb ends.
  3. Measure both feet . If your feet are different sizes, choose the larger foot size when sizing.
  4. See the table below.

For hiking shoes, we recommend buying a shoe at least 1 - 1.5 sizes larger than your everyday shoe size.

In hiking shoes, the toes must not touch the toe!

This is because after walking for a long time, your feet will swell and an otherwise good size shoe will start to feel tight! This is the most common cause of sore feet and toes. In more serious cases, it is even possible to lose toenails due to an inappropriate hiking shoe size.

Example : Measured foot size in millimeters 250 mm or EU 40. Hiking shoes should be chosen from 260 mm or EU 41 1/3.

Shoes for quick summits

Looking for shoes to carry you through the mountains like the wind? Aegility is what you need.

Scrambling* blurs the lines between hiking, mountaineering and climbing. This was Mammut's inspiration when developing the Aegility Pro Mid DT.

Aegility is like a sock, but with an all-around raised sole rubber that not only provides excellent traction, but also stabilizes and protects the foot. Designed with Mammut 360° Fusn technology, the shoe consists of only 4 parts, so it offers an excellent fit to the foot and excellent control.

*Scrambling - from English. scrambling - climbing difficult mountain routes that involve the need to use arms and legs to maintain balance. Ranks between hiking and rock climbing.
