Patches for itching after mosquito and other insect bites
Insect bite patches that effectively reduce itching and promote faster healing. Hydrocolloid technology maintains optimal moisture levels while protecting the skin from dirt, friction, and bacteria. One of the most effective technologies for rapid and controlled healing of minor skin injuries.
How it works
Hydrocolloid is a material that contains water-binding particles. When the patch is applied to the skin:
- it absorbs exudates from the bite site
- creates a moist, gel-like environment
- maintains an optimal microclimate for wound healing
Why it is effective
Unlike ordinary patches that simply cover the wound, hydrocolloid:
- accelerates healing – a moist environment promotes skin cell regeneration
- reduces itching and irritation – irritation of nerve endings is reduced
- reduces the risk of infection – acts as a barrier against bacteria
- provides mechanical protection – against friction, scratching, and dirt
In the case of insect bites, it:
- "draws out" excess fluid from the swelling
- reduces redness and itching
- prevents scratching (which often worsens the situation)
- helps the skin regenerate faster without scars
Usage
Clean the bite area. Apply the patch to the bite area and press firmly. Wear the patch until it peels off. For single use.
When the patch turns white or swells slightly, it means it is actively working - this is a normal process of hydrocolloid reaction, not a defect.
