Two-person trekking tent

Lightweight, compact, and stable tunnel tent with a small vestibule. The flysheet can be rolled up at both ends to catch views and maximise air circulation. Produced without PFAS.

A compact and stable tent for trekkers who prefer to travel with light backpacks. The tent has a slightly lower height and a smaller vestibule to reduce weight. Perfect as a compact and lightweight trekking tent for the warmer months of the year, but also suitable for winter use, except in extreme mountain conditions.

The flysheet is made from Fjällräven’s new high-performance TripleRip polyamide and has an innovative construction that combines two different fabric thicknesses – 20 denier at the top and 40 denier at the bottom, where abrasion against the ground is most intense – providing excellent durability while keeping weight down. The flysheet and inner tent are connected so the inner tent stays dry when pitching.

Easy to use with two colour-coded poles, generous low-friction pole sleeves, and easily adjustable “fox feet”. It is also possible to use double tent poles (accessory) if the tent is used in exposed conditions.

Six Dyneema fabric guy lines with one-hand adjustment and woven reflective threads. Excellent ventilation with large, high-positioned ventilation openings. In warm conditions, the flysheet can be rolled up at both ends to increase visibility and provide fantastic airflow. If the weather is warm but unpredictable, the doors can be zipped up to the halfway position – the zipper has an auto-lock function so it does not “creep open” in the wind.

All openings are covered with a fine mesh that keeps out even the smallest, barely visible insects. Clothes lines and mesh pockets in the inner tent make it easy to dry gear and keep things organised. Attachment points for Gear Loft (accessory) in the inner tent.

Like all Fjällräven tents, Abisko Lite 2 is entirely made without PVC plastic and toxic flame retardants, and its impregnation is done without PFAS.

• Do not machine wash
• Clean with a soft brush and lukewarm water
• Do not dry clean or use solvents for stain removal
• Tent cleaning is not necessary unless it smells or is very muddy. If the tent is very muddy, use a garden hose or shower pressure to remove the mud. For spot cleaning, pitch the tent and wash with warm water, a sponge, and mild soap. Do not use stain removers, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, bleach, or soaking agents. Rinse well. Dry the tent pitched or loosely hung. Never dry clean, machine wash, or machine dry the tent. Any of these methods can remove any waterproof coatings from the tent.
• Never pack or store the tent if it is damp, wet, or dirty. Storing a wet tent in warm weather for even just 24 hours can cause mold to form. Prolonged exposure to moisture causes hydrolysis, which causes the waterproof layer to break down, making it soft, sticky, and permeable. Mold damages the tent, creates odors, and leads to the degradation of the waterproof coating.
• Due to their lightweight materials, these tents are not designed for long-term pitching in a yard or garden. Prolonged exposure to UV radiation causes their materials to degrade prematurely.
• Store in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
• After washing, restore the water-repellent coating with Toko Textile Proof.
