Salewa Ortles Medium 3 RDS Women's Down Jacket
Warm, water-repellent, windproof and compact down jacket for mountaineering and ice climbing
The Ortles Medium 3 Down Jacket is Salewa's latest warm insulation layer for mountaineering. It combines warmth with minimal packing size. Whether used as an insulating mid-layer or as an outer layer, the 750 cuin 90/10 Responsible Down Standard duck down fill and TirolWool® Responsive insulation zones are strategically placed to provide the appropriate level of warmth retention for different parts of the body. TirolWool® Responsive continues to keep you warm even when wet, which is why it is used in the hood, shoulders and cuffs.
The lightweight, abrasion-resistant nylon ripstop outer fabric is ideal for mountain use. It features a cosy, fitted, rear-adjustable hood and a high collar for maximum storm protection. The free-motion fit, ergonomic sleeves and shoulders prevent the hem from lifting during climbing.
The Salewa Ortles down jacket is very compactly packable into its own pocket and has a two-way front zip for additional adaptability, including access to a climbing harness and belay device if worn under the jacket.
