The Spectra Speed Dial is derived from the Silva Spectra system and is designed to simplify orienteering. It consists of reference marks and numbers on a capsule. After completing Step 2 of the Silva 1-2-3 system, you simply need to memorize the number the needle is pointing to and the sighting line will guide you in the right direction as long as the needle is pointing to that number. The Speed Dial is designed like a clock and is easy to read and memorize, allowing you to move faster and more accurately during orienteering. Whether you are an elite or recreational orienteer, the Spectra speed dial will help you stay on course at high speeds while minimizing errors.
The Arc Jet S comes with an attachable thumb plate for those who prefer a more classic thumb grip. Simply slide it onto the base plate with a simple click.
